Efforts to Reduce Plastic Waste

To contribute to environmental conservation, we're adopting eco-friendly cleaning practices, including using biomass materials for amenities in planned guest rooms and introducing an amenity buffet system at the front desk to reduce plastic usage.

  • Control of Plastic Product Discharge

    We are reducing plastic usage by switching guest room amenities like toothbrushes, razors, and brushes to biomass materials. We've also introduced an amenity buffet system at the front desk, allowing guests to select only what they need, further cutting plastic waste. In our restaurants, we're re-evaluating the use of plastic items like straws and takeout containers.

  • ECO Cleaning in Guest Rooms

  • Water Conservation in Guest Rooms

    In our guest rooms, we use water-saving devices such as flow restrictors and shower switches on showerheads and faucets to reduce water consumption.

  • Conversion to LED Lighting in Hotel Facilities

    We are standardizing LED lighting specifications in both new construction and rebranding projects to reduce power consumption, control room temperature, and decrease air conditioning energy usage.

  • Using Up All Toilet Paper

    We promote the use of toilet paper to its end.

    "Hewitt Koshien Hotel is Eco-Mark Certified and promotes fundamental environmental measures such as energy and water conservation, waste reduction, and environmental awareness during guest stays.

    In the hotel industry, more than half of our employees are women. We are committed to creating an environment where female staff can continue working even after marriage and childbirth. We are also working to increase the share of female managers.

    Shima City Signs Disaster Prevention Agreement

    Quintessa Hotel Ise Shima, owned by Core Global Management Inc., has signed an agreement with Mitsubishi UFJ Trust and Banking Corporation, Ichigo Estate, and Shima City to use the hotel as an evacuation facility during large-scale disasters, prioritizing community safety.

  • Partnership with 35COFFEE for Cultivating Coral Born from Coral

    We roast coffee beans using weathered coral heated to over 200 degrees. A portion of the proceeds is donated to coral regeneration activities, such as planting baby corals.

    We incorporate locally sourced ingredients in our restaurants and include local dishes on our menus, contributing to the revitalization of the region.

  • Distribution of Antigen Test Kits to All Employees on a Regular Basis

    We perform regular inspections to ensure the safety and well-being of our diverse guests and staff, providing peace of mind to their families.

  • Installation of Automated External Defibrillators (AEDs)

    Installed for unforeseen circumstances. We also conduct regular equipment inspections.

  • Infection Control

    従Our staff wear masks, conduct temperature checks for guests at check-in and restaurant entry, provide hand sanitizers, and use acrylic partitions at the front counter and restaurant seating. We also monitor ventilation with regular air quality checks.

  • Entry into Child Development Support and Continued Employment Support for Persons with Disabilities

    • Child Development Support Program (Child Development Support & After-School Day Services):
      This program is designed to provide individualized guidance tailored to the developmental needs and characteristics of children with disabilities or developmental concerns, ranging from preschool age to 18 years old. The aim is to improve their physical, language, and communication abilities, with the ultimate goal of promoting future independence and social participation. Additionally, this program serves to support families and communities.
    • Continued Employment Support Program:
      This program is dedicated to offering workplace opportunities and support for individuals with disabilities who may have concerns or face difficulties in securing employment with regular companies.
    In the future, our company will continue to play a role in expanding support for individuals with disabilities.

  • Announcement of the Results of Collaborative SDGs Demonstrations and Experiments with University Professors

    We ensure safety by having staff wear masks, conducting temperature checks at check-in and restaurant entry, providing hand sanitizers, and installing acrylic partitions. We also monitor air quality and ventilation regularly.
