[Press Release] Starting January 2023, we will implement a base salary increase, aiming for industry-leading compensation levels.

Core Global Management Co., Ltd., which operates 18 hotels across Japan (located in Chuo-ku, Tokyo, CEO: Masazumi Nakano), announces that starting from January 2023, the minimum monthly salary for regular employees (including new graduates) and other staff members (※1) at both the managed hotels and group company-managed hotels will be set at 260,000 yen.

※1 Other staff members refer to contract employees and others with work arrangements equivalent to regular employees.

■Background of Implementation
In light of the current inflation trend and the shortage of talent, including considering the acceptance of job transitions from other industries, we have decided to raise the minimum salary. We believe that improving employee benefits will contribute to enhancing the quality of products and services offered to our customers, ultimately leading to regional contributions and increased corporate value. Furthermore, the hospitality industry, which can directly serve foreign guests, is expected to experience significant revival and growth in the future due to its ability to pass on the impacts of a weaker yen and inflation to prices.

■Overview of the Base Salary Increase
Targeted Individuals: Regular employees of our company and group hotel management companies, new graduate employees scheduled to join the company on or after April 1, 2023, and other staff members (※1). Implementation Details: The minimum monthly salary will be set at 260,000 yen. Effective Date: January 2023.
